HNO Scholarship Program

Objective:

The primary goal of the HNO Scholarship Program is to bolster the academic and professional development of current students and professionals who have successfully completed their BSc and MS degrees. Through the provision of financial aid and membership benefits, our aim is to empower individuals, enabling them to actively pursue their educational and career goals.

 

Presently, scholarships will be granted to participants and students who plan to enroll in HNO/HSDC courses and training, covering the registration fees as a waiver. It's important to note that each scholarship corresponds to one specific course or training program.

 

 

HNO Scholarship for Students

 

Eligibility:           Open to current BSc or MS students.

 

Selection Criteria:

1.       Cumulative and Latest CGPA. Cumulative and Latest CGPA. Provide all Academic Certificate and Transcripts (Carries 35% Points)

2.       One Recommendation Letter from a Teacher on a Institutional Letterhead. (Carries 15% Points)

3.       Motivation Letter in English (Carries 25% Points)

4.       Volunteer Works. Provide documented proof.  (Carries 20% Points)

5.       CV in Standard format (Carries 5% Points)

6.       Additional Points will be calculated for Research Publication in Scientific Journal. Add Article. (See below for point calculations)

 

Scholarship Benefits:

1.       One 100% Waiver on Registration Fees with One Year Student Member Benefits

2.       Two 50% Waiver on Registration Fees with One Year Student Member Benefits

3.       Three 30% Waiver on Registration Fees

4.       Five 10% Waiver on Registration Fees

 

 

HNO Scholarship Program for Professionals

 

Eligibility:           Open to individuals who have completed their BSc and MS.

 

Selection Criteria:

1.       Cumulative and Latest CGPA. Provide all Academic Certificate and Transcripts. (Carries 35% Points)

2.       Motivation Letter in English (Carries 30% Points)

3.       Volunteer/Leadership Works. Provide documented proof. (Carries 30% Points)

4.       CV in Standard format. (Carries 5% Points)

5.       Additional Points will be calculated for Research Publication in Scientific Journal. Add All Articles. (See below for point calculations)

 

Scholarship Benefits:

1.       One 100% Waiver on Registration Fees with One Year General Member Benefits

2.       Two 50% Waiver on Registration Fees with One Year General Member Benefits

3.       Three 30% Waiver on Registration Fees

4.       Five 10% Waiver on Registration Fees

 

For Research Publication, the following rules will be adhered to in order to calculate points:

 

Publication Type:

1.       International Journal: 5 points

2.       National Journal: 3 points

3.       International Conference: 2 points

4.       National Conference: 1 point

 

Author Contribution:

1.       First Author: 5 points

2.       Corresponding Author: 4 points

3.       Last Author: 4 Points

4.       All other Authors: 1 point

 

Impact Factor of Journal/Conference:

1.       IF > 5: 5 points

2.       IF 3-5: 3 points

3.       IF 1-3: 2 points

4.       IF < 1: 1 point

 

Citations:

1.       Per Citation: 0.5 points

 

Research Funding Acknowledgment:

2.       Yes: 5 points

3.       No: 0 points

 

Collaboration:

1.       International Collaboration: 5 points

2.       National Collaboration: 3 points

3.       No Collaboration: 0 points

 

Interdisciplinary Nature:

1.       Yes: 5 points

2.       No: 0 points

 

Journal/Conference Reputation:

1.       Top Tier: 5 points

2.       Mid Tier: 3 points

3.       Low Tier: 1 point

 

Open Access Publication:

1.       Yes: 5 points

2.       No: 0 points

 

Number of Pages:

1.       < 5 pages: 1 point

2.       6-10 pages: 2 points

3.       11-15 pages: 3 points

4.       15+ pages: 5 points

 

The total points for a research publication will be the sum of points obtained from each criterion. These rules aim to provide a comprehensive and fair evaluation of the quality and impact of research contributions within our publication framework.

 

 

Application Process and Selection Announcements:

 

1.       The scholarship is applicable for one course and/or training only.

2.       Participants/students must register (with payment) for the course/training.

3.       After course/training registration, participants/students will receive a registration number required for the scholarship application.

4.       Scholarship applications are accepted online only and must be submitted within the deadline of the course/training registration.

5.       Follow the instructions provided in the scholarship application.

6.       Upload all required documents in a single PDF.

7.       Submit all necessary information.

8.       Incomplete applications will not be considered.

9.       HNO/HSDC will take a minimum of two weeks to evaluate all applications.

10.   Successful applicants will receive email notifications and can check the website of the concerned course/training.

11.   Scholarship amounts will be provided in the second week of the course or training.

12.   In all cases, HNO/HSDC's decision will be final.
